Few people are as familiar with BuzziSpace as Alain Gilles, who was crowned 'Designer of the year 2012' and went back to the drawing board to design the new BuzziHive. This acoustic cocoon is inspired by train compartments and ensures that a maximum of three people can hold a meeting in total privacy, peace and quiet, without losing contact with their surroundings.
BuzziHive can be used as a stand-alone element in any space, but it can also be combined with other BuzziHives, thus creating a beehive effect, where every cell is buzzing with action.
BuzziHive features a flat back panel and comes with several options, including a roof and a folding table, allowing you to place it wherever you like. Moreover, you can choose your own decor, allowing you to create a customised, private workspace amid the hustle and bustle of a busy office.

On 25 and 26 April 2013 BuzziSpace will be at Architect @ Work in Kortrijk! At Architect @Work 2013 we will be presenting our new fabrics: BuzziTartan with its colourful chequered pattern, BuzziGallo with its small, symmetrical squares, BuzziFisk with its herringbone pattern and the soft colours of BuzziTerra. 100% pure lambswool, thickened and woven with extra thick yarns for even better acoustic properties. Discover the world of fabric through BuzziSpace Felts, Fabrics & Rugs.

At our stand you can also admire the BuzziSwitch Brick Back wall covering, which is made of Sliced BuzziFelt from our own production waste. A new type of random striped pattern is created using strips of felt trimmings (BuzziFelt = 100% recycled PET bottles), allowing us to upcycle our own waste. Solid structures partly covered in soft fabric automatically boost the acoustics of the room.

The BuzziShade forms a contrast between the elegant base and the large hood in BuzziFelt that seems to float above it.
This lamp creates an intimate space and ensures a pleasant light zone. It can be used in offices, waiting rooms, restaurants or as event furniture.

Sound absorbing, environmentally friendly and N-E-W , this creation is the result of a collaboration between four young furniture designers who studied in Mechelen (Belgium): Len de Paepe, Bob Segers, Tim Vranken and Jonas Blondeel.
